“Let’s take a walk it said.” I said to myself as I got down the last flight of stairs.

Out of all days the elevator had to be out of order and on top of it all Ms. Stripe head band was not any where to be found. I was already outside, so I took that walk that I was supposed to take when I first moved here. I was hoping that this one walk around the neighborhood would motivate me to come out everyday and walk. I laughed out loud just thinking of that really happening. As I continued to walk, I notice that there was a walking trail ahead. I stop and looked straight at it and hit a complete U-turn. I watch too much “SVU” to do trails, not happening. I ended up walking pass my apartment going in the opposite direction that I started in when I left.

“You have to be kidding me right now” I said while slowing down the pace I was walking.

“Another freaking walking trail. I’m convinced that this is a movie scene or something.” I said as I came up to the corner.

It was her. Ms. Stripe head band. I crossed the street as she walked on the trail and I did not follow her.

“My life matters. and I cannot do it.” I said in my head. I wave good bye and headed towards a. small grocery store. I noticed this grocery store out the corner of my eye when I first stop at the last corner.

I started towards the store to grab some items since I was already out and about. I also, was pretty thirsty from my walk. The store was way bigger inside then it looked from the outside, nice and clean. I grabbed a basket and started my shopping for the apartment.

“What do I really need? I just filled the fridge the other day.” I said to myself.

Well since I was here I just looked around to see if there’s something that I might have. missed. I found the aisle with the water warm and cold. I’ve never in my life seen such a variety of waters, prices starting from $1.29 to $47. I right passed. those high prices up and went straight for the single bottle water. I grabbed a flavored one just to see how it taste again because the first time was a whole no. As always I had a clumsy moment, I dropped the bottle and dove for it without looking up while I was reaching for it.

“Be careful before you hit your head on something.” A man said with a nice deep voice.

“Shoot I’m sorry!” I said while grabbing the bottle and on my way up I was face-to-face with grey sweat pants and a well use your imagination.

I could not get any other words out of my mouth other then “Excuse me again.” I hurried around him and walked as fast as I could to get to the end of the aisle with him.

“Ma’am!” he yelled to me.

“Yes” I answered back barely looking over my shoulder.

“The edible beef sausage is in aisle 5.” He said laughing under his breath, but I was able to still hear his mannish ass.

“I decided after that episode I might just go to aisle 5 and find out where the crackers are also, neither was at my house…
